For those of you who haven’t seen my previous reviews, Heaven Skincare is a luxury brand personally founded and developed by the lady responsible for the immaculate skin of the Royal family – Deborah Mitchell. Since launching, Deborah has developed a fantastic range of skincare products including this Bee Peel which I was lucky enough to be sent a sample of prior to release.
The Bee Peel contains Deborah’s patented bee venom youth formula Abeetoxin™, glycolic acid, organic coconut and raw cane sugar which resurface the skin, minimise the appearance of fine lines, pigmentation, scarring, dullness and blemishes. Described as a “face lift in a jar” the Bee Peel gently exfoliates, hydrates and plumps whilst boosting the production of collagen, leaving you with beautifully glowing and radiant skin.
It can be used as an intensive facial peel or on targeted specific areas. So for example if you are concerned about fine lines around your eyes then you can use this peel specifically to treat that area only. It can also be used on tougher areas such as elbows and feet to treat dry skin. I personally use it as a treatment mask and general pick me up for my skin once a week but it can be used more frequently if required. It is not recommended for use on delicate areas for more than 3 consecutive days or for more than a few minutes, but can be left on tougher areas (such as elbows and feet) for longer periods.
I noticed an instant difference after using this peel for the first time in terms of my skin’s overall general appearance and luminosity. I have a combination of oily and sensitive skin and immediately after use my skin appeared more glowing and radiant, with any signs of dullness being instantly removed. I personally love nothing more than having clear skin which has that healthy dewy glow, so for me Heaven’s Bee Peel is perfection in a tub.
At £109 for 50ml it may seem a little on the pricey side in comparison to other products, however in my view you really do get what you pay for when it comes to good quality skincare products. The great thing about the Bee Peel is that you only need the tiniest amount so it will last you a really long time.
I was sent a 15ml sample pot which I have used weekly for the past month and I have barely used a quarter of the pot, so for the immediate visible results that this Bee Peel delivers I really do think it is worth every penny and would not hesitate to purchase a full sized tub once my sample has run out.
At the time of writing this post the Bee Peel is presently available for pre-release order only here via the Heaven Skincare website and y0u do need to allow up to 4 weeks for delivery. I personally would not hesitate to recommend purchase to any one and have already promised to take my sample pot around to my Mum’s for her to trial as I have been so impressed.
One thing that you do however need to be aware of is that it is recommended that you carry out a patch test prior to use as it is an intensive peel treatment. Please be mindful of this prior to first use and do stick to the advice given.
If you do try the Bee Peel after reading this post I’d love to hear about your results so please do comment below or drop me a message/ tweet.
Similarly if you have tried any of the other products in Deborah’s range please feel free to share your thoughts and any review links below. I am yet to find one I don’t love!
