Natural Spa Factory Aegean Black Face Wrap

Face masks are a really important part of any skincare routine and can help to give the skin a complete overhaul and much needed boost, depending of course on the ingredients contained within the mask and whether you are using the correct type of mask for your skin type. I tend to use face masks twice a week (one midweek and one on a Sunday morning) and never stick to using just one all of the time. I tend to use a range of peeling, clay, cream, exfoliating and sheet masks depending upon how my skin is at that particular time and what my concerns are. Last week I was concerned about shine and my skin looking oily so I used this Natural Spa Factory Aegean Black Face wrap * which is specifically designed for oily skin.

The Natural Spa Factory Aegean Black Face wrap contains charcoal and citric acids to help control bacterial growth and fight shine. Charcoal has drawing properties and a high absorbency quality so helps to draw out impurities, toxins and oil from the skin leaving a healthy glow without that oily shine. It also contains an antioxidant blend derived from the Creosote bush which is native to the Aegean Island of Chios – hence the name!

Carefully unfold once removed from the sachet

In terms of application the Natural Spa Factory Aegean Black Face wrap comes in sheet mask form, which is soaked in serum. When removed from the sachet it is folded into 3 so you need to carefully unfold it, prior to placing the small loopholes over your ears to hold the mask in place. It needs to be applied to cleansed skin and can be left on for 15 – 20 minutes. The packet does say you will look a little strange whilst wearing the mask (I’ll let you decide from my selfie!) but afterwards you should be left with  fabulous mattified skin.

Immediately after using the mask I did feel like my oil and shine levels were reduced, but this probably only lasted a couple of days. I suspect that for lasting results you would need to use a Natural Spa Factory Aegean Black Face wrap on a more frequent basis, i.e. 2 -3 times per week. To stock up on your supplies, you can buy the Natural Spa Factory Aegean Black Face wraps individually via the Natural Spa Factory website  for £7.50 each.

Have you tried any of the Natural Spa Factory range?

How do you feel about sheet masks?

So it comes as a mask as opposed to a paste which turns into a mask?

Have you tried other paste face masks?

    Just doing some research.

    Thanks x
